On April 12th, Romana's Pilates Certified Instructor Allison Black will be at our Doylestown Studio to present the MELT Introduction Workshop.
The MELT Method is the very first Hands-off Bodywork® method developed for the general public as a self-care tool to prevent and relieve chronic pain. It’s an affordable addition to any wellness, fitness, or Pilates routine. Adding MELT to your life will help improve your efficiency and performance in your exercise routine, while enhancing daily life by improving your digestion, sleeping, and reducing stress. This all-levels class will use specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Balls to simulate the results of manual therapy. You will learn how to self-treat in your own home in just minutes a day to create lasting changes.
Use of MELT products during the class is included in the registration fee and will be available for purchase after the event.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
After earning a BA in Art from UCF in 2008, Allison abandoned her native Florida for New York City for the express purpose of gaining a classical Pilates certification through Romana’s Pilates. She apprenticed under the Pilates master Sari Mejia Santo and even had the opportunity to study under Romana Kryzanowska herself. She then went on to acquire certifications from the National Academy of Sports and Medicine, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and the American Heart Association. A fitness instructor since 2004, Allison is delighted to now be a certified MELT Method instructor.
